We conclude this year’s journey on Saturday, November 7.

After 8 months of traveling to neighboring lands and forging new bonds, the Explorer Series invites you to celebrate what we’ve built and contest the realm.

This will be a one-day gathering with events firing throughout the day:

  • 12 - 9pm: The Trials of the Persecutor — This is our invitational tournament for players who scored 10 Persecutor points or higher over the course of the year. Competitors will face off in a constructed swiss tournament (12 - 5pm), then our top 8 players will proceed to a single-elimination bracket (6-9pm), to name this year’s competitive champion and winner of a hand-painted Alter.

  • 12:30 - 4:30pm: Frogimago’s Cube Draft A ($10 entry) — Buckle up for one of greatest draft experiences of your life.

  • 1:00 - 5pm: Two-Headed Dragon Randomized Constructed Tournament ($15 entry) — This is our main event for folks who aren’t playing in the invitational. No need to bring a teammate, because you will be paired with a new teammate every single round.

  • 5 - 6pm: Dinner Break and Awards Ceremony — We’ll honor this year’s Saviors, Pathfinder, and Grand Explorer.

  • 6 - 10pm: Frogimago’s Cube Draft B ($10 entry) — The draft experience so nice, we’re doing it twice.

  • ALL DAY: On-Demand Draft Pods ($25 per player) — Bring your group to the store register, and their staff will get you set up with your own draft pod.

Questions and Answers

Q: What are the prizes?

  • All events except for on-demand pods include a never-before-seen Explorer Series token card as a door prize.

  • Every paid event includes 1 pack per win.

  • During our 2HD event, we will award additional prizing for the top 4, top 8, and bottom 2 ranked players.

  • We have special plans for our Trials competitors to be revealed on the day of, and surprises planned for throughout the day for all players.

Q: Will there be food and drink available for purchase?

  • That’s our goal! The owners of the Eldritch Bastion are working hard to bring food partners directly to the store so that you can easily refuel as you game.
